Spectacular Ice Sculptures
02.12.09
Not all our seasonal warmth is warm this year - as we exhibit 9 stunning, specially commissioned ice sculptures in The Arcade this month. From an Olympics tribute, to an X Factor special, each sculpture will tell a different story and will stand resplendent in The Arcade. You can even catch artists doing some live crafting.
Ice in The Arcade

Sit in Santa's sleigh
While Santa's busy getting everyone's presents ready, he'll be parking his sleigh (and his two favourite reindeers) in St. Pancras International - in the form of one of our stunning ice sculptures. So be sure to come and take a photo of yourself on his icy sleigh before it disappears. Then send it to family and friends as an unforgettable seasonal greeting.
And the winner is...
After scrutinizing over 700 weird and wonderful suggestions for the people’s choice ice sculpture, we’ve picked a winner. It’s a Christmas angel, as chosen by Iris and Nadia from Edith Neville school in Camden. Well done guys! We can’t wait to see it standing majestically in the stunning surroundings of St. Pancras International.
Come down to see it on Monday 21st December.
Goodwill for a good cause
Christmas is about giving, as well as celebrating, so we'll be dedicating one of our festive sculptures to New Horizons - our official charity. The charity does crucial work, helping homeless and vulnerable young people in the Kings Cross area.
So please come and see the sculpture on either Wednesday 16 or Thursday 17 December, and make a donation to the New Horizon volunteers who will be collecting at the station - it's a great cause to support.
