Olympic Seats Appear at St Pancras International
St Pancras International has said ‘Welcome Home’ to the London 2012 Olympic rings in a brilliant and exciting fashion. The iconic symbols that were much loved throughout their 18 months in St Pancras International were removed soon after the closing ceremony.However they are now back having been individually dismantled and recycled into seating units as High Speed 1 decided it was only right they remain a permanent fixture for station visitors to enjoy.
These new Olympic seats now reside just outside the Southeastern platforms at St Pancras International, so you can now bask in the glory of a successful summer whilst waiting for a train, meeting a friend or even to rest your feet after a record breaking feat of shopping. Just sit tight and be a part of Team GB like never before.
