Section two delivers the high speed line through new stations at Ebbsfleet in North Kent and Stratford and via tunnel into St Pancras International.
High Speed
A key part of the case that convinced the IOC to award the 2012 Olympic Games to London was the new High Speed 1 station at Stratford. Just 8 minutes from St Pancras International this station will come to life in 2009 with both Eurostar and high speed domestic services taking advantage of Stratford's excellent links to Canary Wharf and the City.
